A-2 tool steel - A2 tool steel is the best choice for hardness, wear resistance  and toughness for cutting tool applications. Deeper hardening, more wear &   shock resistance than 0-1 and other high carbon steels, and holds a keener   edge. Allowing you more time at the work bench and less time at the sharpening bench.
